Today marks the exact day that I first arrived in Tel aviv five months ago. I remember stepping off the plane terrified of what I was getting into. Today is my last full day in Tel aviv. Tomorrow I will be heading to Berlin Germany to travel around Europe for a bit before making my way home.
When I first started on this journey I was lost in the direction that my career and life were supposed to go in. Now I have a better idea of where I am headed, and what I want to do. I feel more confident in myself and in what I can accomplish. If nothing else I take that as confirmation that this Journey was a success.
This marks the official end of my Israeli adventure. It’s been an incredible 5 months of learning, exploring, making new friends, and growing. I’m sad to see it end. Tel aviv, and Israel as a whole has captured my love. It isn’t home, but it will always have a special place in my heart. I will cherish the friends I have made the experiences I have had. And it’s not goodbye. I will be back, I know that much. It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later.
